We are a small farm growing food and family in Virgin, Utah. We love sharing our knowledge and our products with people who care about where food comes from and how things are grown. Our goal is to grow community as we grow and raise food.
How We Grow and Raise Food
Do you spray your garden or trees?
No. We do not like to spray our garden or trees. We care about the land, the food we grow, and the people we grow it for.
Is your chicken organic?
No. Our chicken is not certified organic, so we do not use that word to describe it. Our chickens do have outside access 24/7.
Why does local food sometimes cost more?
Our customers understand that locally grown food may cost more than what they can buy at a large grocery store. They also know they are supporting a local farm, getting high-quality food, and reducing the distance their food has to travel.

Yes. Onward Homestead offers chicken when available. You can order chicken cuts and eggs here. Because poultry products may require specific pickup, storage, or handling instructions, customers should review product details carefully before ordering. We do not offer live chickens at this time.
Do you sell bread or baked goods?

Do you sell pistachios online?

Do you ship products?
Because of the nature of what we grow, bake, and raise, most of our products are available for local pickup or limited local delivery only. In the future, we plan to ship pistachios.
Can I place a custom or special order?
Custom or special orders may be available depending on the product and season. Please contact us with your request, and we will let you know what is possible.
How should products be stored after purchase?
Storage depends on the product. Pistachios can be stored in the cupboard or on the counter. Produce, chicken, bread, and other fresh products may require refrigeration, freezing, room-temperature storage, or prompt pickup. Specific storage instructions will be included with each product when needed.
